Bicycle Queensland has formally asked for our assistance providing checkpoints for their Yarraman to Wulkuraka Rail Trail ride. This is a 3-day event, starting on the Friday the 27th July at Yarraman, and proceeding along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail to Wulkuraka, approximately half-way between Ipswich and Rosewood, finishing on the Sunday.
A communications plan is in the early stages, but it is likely this event will involve both stationary check-points and bicycle mobile communications. Expressions of interest, please contact the secretary, or members can get in touch with Ed Newman.
